TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  1. INTRODUCTION

    1. This competition is organised by DealerBüddy (Pty) Ltd and its associated group of companies. 

    2. Information on how to enter and the prize form part of the Conditions of Entry. Entry into this competition deems acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.  To the extent of any inconsistency between these Conditions of Entry and any other reference to this competition, these Conditions of Entry prevail.

  2. WHO MAY ENTER?

    1. To participate in this competition, you must:

    2. Be an active DealerBüddy Agent (Dealership); and

    3. For the period 1st of August 2022 – 18th of August 2022 you must have successfully sold any of the DealerBüddy’s products. Selling of the products must have resulted in a policy being incepted, for which, the DealerBüddy Agent will receive an entry.

  3. MECHANICS

    1. Eligible entrants will be automatically entered upon completion of successfully incepted policies, for the total amount of policies incepted, the DealerBüddy Agent will receive an entry.  For example: x10 policies incepted = x10 entries. 

    2. Confirmation will be sent electronically to confirm each successful entry.

  4. THE PRIZE

    1. The prize for the ‘DealerBüddy’ competition will be: 

      1. a ticket for the Motoring Festival held on 27 August 2022 at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit; and 

      2. DealerBüddy goodie bag. 

    2. The ticket will be sent to the winner via e-mail and the goodie bag will be handed over at the event. 

  5. OPEN, CLOSE, DRAW DATE AND NOTIFICATION

    1. The competition commences at start of business on Monday, 1 August 2022.

    2. The competition closes at end of business on Friday, 18 August 2022.

    3. The winner will be randomly selected, from the list of qualifying participants on Friday, 19 August 2022.

    4. The winner will be notified via Facebook.  

  6. GENERAL

    1. DealerBüddy reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this competition if an event beyond the control of DealerBüddy corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition. DealerBüddy will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition.

    2. DealerBüddy’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for lost or misdirected entries.

    3. Any false information provided will result in immediate disqualification.

    4. DealerBüddy reserves the right to postpone, suspend or cancel this competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reason which DealerBüddy reasonably deems necessary, on condition that no prize winner has been drawn and that reasonable notice (as determined by DealerBüddy) has been given. No liability shall lie against DealerBüddy in favor of any participant arising from such postponement, suspension or cancellation.

    5. In participating in this competition, the Winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all activities relating to the competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. 

    6. By entering this Competition, you authorise DealerBüddy to collect, store and use (not share) personal information of entrants for communication and statistical purposes. 

    7. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa. 

    8. All entrants participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the entrant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless DealerBüddy, their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the Competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any of DealerBüddy.
